RESSEEPE Project Kick-Off Meeting was held on 22nd and 23rd of July 2013 in Brussels. The Project Coordinator representatives, Kenneth Burnham and Laura Melvin (IES) gave an overview of administrative, legal and financial procedures. Technical Manager of the project, Dr Vladimir Vukovic (Exergy) talked about the concept and main objectives. RESSEEPE is a collaborative project co-funded by the European Community Seventh Framework Programme (FP7) and it has received funding from the European Union. The project will bring together design and decision making tools, innovative building fabric manufacturers and a strong demonstration programme to demonstrate the improved building performance through retrofitting.
The first day consisted mainly of partner´s presentations. All participants presented their expertise, some of them in solar and energy efficiency, sustainable construction, manufacturing of new materials, prototyping activities, building performance. The partners talked about their engagement and active participation in the RESSEEPE Project.
During the second day work package leaders took the opportunity to deep into their relevant work packages and implementation plans.
There was a time to share reporting, reviewing and communication procedures and discuss about the corporate identity of the project and the website that will be launched at the end of September 2013.
