INNOBITE Project held its 1st Workshop in September 2013
During INNOBITE’s first year running, a workshop took place on the 16th of September 2013 in Zurich. The workshop topic was “Biorefinery and Nanocellulose” and the following groups participated as lecturers: EMPA, Tecnalia, CIMV and ECOPULP .
This workshop has been an opportunity to exchange knowledge and experience in important aspects of the project, such as the biorefinery concept and market, green chemicals from wood, lignin-based molecules, lignin-based thermoplastics and types of nanocellulose, its production methods, commercial initiatives and applications.
